How to become better people. Build healthy relationships. Navigate money, careers and opportunities. Take care of ourselves. Show up for others. And somehow leave something better behind for the people coming after us.

That's what this place is for.
Silt & Stone Collective was built for what I call the middle child of society — people who aren't necessarily in crisis, but also haven't had every resource, network, mentor or opportunity placed within reach.
They may not need saving. But they could use more support, more exposure, more community and more opportunities to grow.
Silt & Stone is here to help people become better at life and better for the people they share it with.
Because when people grow, everything around them has the opportunity to grow too.
That is the bigger picture behind Silt & Stone.
And somewhere in all of that, I hope this place feels a little like family too.
A place where you can grow, belong and leave something better behind.
Because we are shaped by the lives we witness, and we leave our mark on the lives that witness ours.

The name is a reminder of how community actually forms — slowly, then all at once.
Carried by moving water, separate elements eventually settle together, creating rich new ground where something can grow.
Stone gives that ground permanence — a foundation strong enough to build upon.
What we build together. Not a building — a way of being with each other that feels like home.
The different ways we gather. Some for learning, some for listening, some for celebrating nothing in particular.
Where we actually meet. Eye level. No performance. Just people pulling up a chair.

We're new. A few small meetups, a handful of people who kept showing up, and a first round of EL-EX workshops being built right now. That's the whole résumé.
We're still raising the start-up money it takes to run this the way it deserves to be run. If you come in now, you're not joining something finished — you're helping decide what it becomes.
